I went to a gay formal Saturday night. It was sort of a prom for those who had been unable to go to the prom with the person they wanted to. We had about 300 attend and it was a very nice evening. I went with Hector, Bob P and Tim. I met a lot of folks I've become friends with such as Jon, Fred, Jeff and Carol.

Then Jon introduced me to Brian.

Jon: He works at your company.

Me: Hi Brian. I'm Scott

Brian's eyes get really big: What's your last name?

I tell him.

Brian: I'm your business manager.

Me: Oh, You're Brian T!!

So I meet Brian, the guy I've been emailing for the past year. And today, Monday, I moved into the same building he's in. His office is the next aisle over from my new office.

I looked him up this morning and we went to lunch together. Very nice guy. But of course he has a partner, also named Scott.

Back at the dance on Saturday night, Tim was trying to get me to ask Jon or Bob P to dance. I thot about it and was screwing up my courage, but events didn't work out.
